Pre-Halloween

As weeks become shorter in Savannah, the projects become more intense.  Design projects, while exceeding each one, have gotten more labor intensive and more time consuming.  I still can't help but to love where I am. I realize now why God brought me to this city and how he has prepared my heart to be on my own like this.

I am looking forward to coming home in three weeks, yet I am not quite ready.  I think it will be a little different than in the past (coming home from a holiday or missions trip). My life here are SCAD will be put on hold, and my life in Indiana will resume right where I left off.  I am not looking forward to leaving my friends, yet most all of them have skype, and in six weeks, I will get to see them all again!

This week I turned in my 4th design project:

It was to take an original painting:
Original Painting by Janet Fish

And take a 3X3 in. viewfinder...find a section of the painting that is the most appealing...(this is mine):

...then turn all the colors into black and white using a grey value scale...and after that, recreate a colored area to create balance and a focal point:
This is my painting that I turned in

This weekend is halloween!  I am excited because this whole month, my friends and I have gone around to houses that are suppose to be haunted. So far, we have not yet seen any paranormal activity; however, I still have faith that we are going to on Halloween or sometime this weekend!

This is one of the houses that we visited:

12 Oglethorpe house is one of the many haunted houses in Savannah.
The front door is always open. They have tried to bolt the door many times
but the "doctor ghost" doesn't want the door to be locked supposidly.
