Before I start this post, I just wanted to stop and apologize for all the "firsts" I have been posting. It is stated; however, that college is of course a first in the first place. Moving to a whole different location presents a lot of first experiences.
Today, I had my first day of class! I only had one class at two o'clock which allowed me to have a nice day before heading to class. My english professor is very smart. His name is Dr. Murphy and he resembles a nerdy version of Patrick Dempsey.
Another first that was presented to me was my first time using the SCAD workout facilities. This was an awesome experiences (however I am very sore!). Jay Young and I went to club SCAD and lifted weights and ran on the treadmill a bit. It was a pretty good workout. You knew that it was a SCAD facility because there was a DJ in the middle of the gym managing the music for the whole workout facility! haha I have never seen anything like it! After stopping and thinking about it, I think it is an awesome idea! No need for an ipod or headphones!
I ended my day walking to city market to Vinnie Van GOGOs for some pizza with about 10 of my friends then walking back to the "smoke" bridge and chilling. It's amazing how you don't even have to smoke in order to chill among people that do.
Overall, Day one of classes, Day 5 of SCAD...great success!
